Piano Man (1996) – South Korea crime thriller. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t nearly as thrilling as I hoped it would be.
The Banquet (2006) – Chinese historical drama. I really enjoyed it, and it made me think a bit of Curse of the Golden Flower.
Aladin (2009) – Bollywood… comedy/fantasy. It was okay, kind of funny. Mostly silly, and we think it spent a little too much time on the Aladin/Jasmine romance and not enough with campy evil Sanjay Dutt. Amitabh was awesome, of course.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) – Okay, it’s official. Michael Bay has succeeded in making explosions boring. The movie was pretty much 95% explosions, and 5% Megan Fox flaunting. Why was it almost two and a half hours long? It didn’t even having any musical numbers…
